Is “Son” A Racist Term? Congressman Joe Walsh Reacts To Criticism Against Him

Congressman Joe Walsh was caught on camera over the weekend using language that has generated some controversy. He’s taking heat for calling President Obama “son,” when suggesting that the POTUS isn’t up to the job.

A group called “Color of Change” says that Walsh’s use of the word “son” is racist.

  2. Of course it was racist dogwhistle. And the irony of a teabagger who is thousands of dollars behind in child support, condescending to the elected president of the United States, by calling him “son,” isn’t lost on voters. You can try to polish this turd, by interviewing him, but in the end, he’s still a deadbeat dad, who will lose the next election, because he’s done absolutely nothing since taking office.
