William Cohen spent twenty-four years in office as a Congressperson and a Senator, then crossed party lines to serve as President Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Defense from 1997-2001.

Cohen joined John and Amy to talk about what effect the drastic defense budget cuts that would take place if the Congressional Supercommitte can’t come to an agreement on a debt deal would have on the national security of the US. He also talked about his new book “Blink of an Eye”:
