If you were listening to Big John and Amy this morning, you may have heard them talking about the possibility of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition taking over AM 560 WIND sometime in the near future. If you’re concerned about this possible change, you can relax … April Fool’s. Thanks for listening. There are no plans for any changes at AM 560 WIND in the near future.

I was so upset when I heard you guys this morning talking about this. This would be a real loss of freedom. Think about it. Your station is the only real broadcast source of news, talk show host opinion AND LISTENER OPINION in the area. With all that is going on I wouldn’t put it past the “thugs” to force a back door Fairness Doctrine thru where the Rainbow Shove crowd arm twists it’s way in to remove your station from informing Chicagoans with the real news and truth. Freedom is so fragile and easily lost.
It did appear to me to be a April fools joke but I was still very upset that it might be true. I really don’t think that it was a good idea. Please don’t do it again. I like all the weekday talk. You guys, Beck, Miller, Medved, Savage, Hewitt.
John, I felt like my son, (“Ron from Northlake”) did — “cheated” when Cisco left. But I have to say, Amy, you are “Duh Lady”. I love your prospective. You say what I am thinking in your responses to John or other peoples opinions.
Honestly, I don’t think either of you could stand to work in the same zip code as J.J. I felt like I needed a shower after his interview this morning. That had to be an episode of “Dirtiest Jobs”. Thank you to both of you for a great show. But, Please—-NO MORE “JOKES” LIKE THAT!

I’m arguing with my wife about the story i heard this morning about the 5 yr old getting a 1 week in-school detention for bringing candy for lunch. Can u tell me where to find the story and facts about this story. My wife just won’t beleive me. thanx for any help.
